Aishwarya Rai at Cannes

 Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is back once again at Cannes and is doing what she does best; making heads turn. The actress wowed everyone with her super-glamorous avatar in a black evening gown as she arrived at the opening night of the Festival on Tuesday along with Hollywood star Eva Longoria. Thought it was Brazilian director Fernando Meirelles’s film ‘Blindness’s’ which premiered on the opening night, it was Aishwarya’s unfazed and flawless beauty that blinded everyone present at the venue. ash at cannes

While the following evenings have seen Ash’s magic continue with hubby Abhishek by her side, attendees waiting to catch a glimpse of the actress on-screen will have to wait till the next Cannes Fest or probably longer as none of her films are being showed this year at the festival. In fact, it was only four years after ‘Devdas’ - her first film to be screened at the international platform – that the Fest saw Ash back on-screen with the premiere of ‘Provoked’.

So while Ash continues to be the Indian representative among the jury at Cannes, the wait for attendees from across the globe to watch India’s most beautiful actress in her acting shoes might get only longer with Ms.Bachchan getting all the more selective about signing films. Richard Noel Marx (born September 16, 1963 in Winnetka, Illinois) is an adult contemporary and pop/rock singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. He had a string of highly successful hit singles in the late 1980s and 1990s, including “Endless Summer Nights”, “Right Here Waiting”, “Now & Forever”, and “Hazard”. Although most of his major hit songs were slow ballads like these, many of his songs had a classic rock style, such as “Don’t Mean Nothing,” “Should’ve Known Better,” “Satisfied,” and “Too Late To Say Goodbye”. Marx placed himself in the record books by being the first solo artist to have his first seven singles hit the Top 5 on the US charts
